Sunday we had to get alll of our stuff (including new acquisitions) stuffed into our suitcases. That was a huge undertaking and it took us a while to get going. But when we did, we (the three of us, Kelly and Erica) went to Gustavino's for an amazing brunch. I took on roll of klutz and broke a plate and nearly broke a few more things, but we had good granola with like creme fraiche and berries in it and then these brick-oven eggs and french toast and some dessert thing that I didn't touch because I thought I might burst if I did.

Then we went to Time Square (we probably stopped once or twice along the way, but who knows now) and went to the temporary Target store (yes, temporary - to sell their breast cancer products) there and looked at all of the pink stuff. Then we made a few of those last-minute sort of stops. Places we wanted to go back to, etc. Our last stop was at Magnolia Bakery to pick up some banana pudding (how could we eat anymore, you ask? good question) and get some cupcakes to take to husbands back home. But after a swift walk in that direction (we were running out of time) we stood in line for about 15 minutes and realized we could wait no longer. We took a cab to the hotel, picked up our suitcases and met our car service to the airport.

One easy flight later and our journey was at its end.

This account is rather prosaic. My pictures tell it better.
