?> Friday started far earlier than previous days. We went down town and caught a bite at Starbucks (can I tell you how weird it is for me to go to Starbucks multiple times in one week) and then stood in line for hours (okay, maybe 2 hours) for the Statue of Liberty. It's a crazy long line with street performers/vendors all standing by ready to take your $$. I amused myself by taking movies of the pigeons and pictures of other stuff at weird angles and occasionally watching the performers.

Once we finally got to Ellis Island (we only saw Lady Liberty from the boat), we had a nice tour of the facility, looked at some of the exhibits and got back in line to head back to shore (another island, really, I suppose). Something went wonky though because we had to stay on the boat extra long and I got extra sea-sick and didn't really feel too good until we got to the Gugenheim. We saw a really great exhibit there on the Aztecs. It featured some amazing pieces in really super condition ... incredible exhibit.

After the Guggenheim, we went back to China Town and waited in another line (I think this must have been the day for that) to go to Joe Shanghai's. That was a pretty good restaurant. They have these soup dumplings. They're like dough with really super hot soup in them. So you kinda put them in those plastic (big) soup spoons and then poke 'em and suck out the broth and then eat the shell.
