I picked up this guy super cheap at Hobby Loby because my copy is a wee bit beat up. But hey, it reads the same. Anyhoo, this is a very nice book detaling some 3-D alternatives to scrapbooking. Photo-covered cubes, making over a clip board, using muffin tins, etc. Photo art for your home.

This is a beautifully designed and executed book that shows you very nice, simple and beautiful projects that you can sew. It focuses on home and personal accessories, including aprons, totebags, placemats, draft dodgers and others. A must-have for novice sewers.

This is a very nice modern embroidery book. It has loads of interesting and pretty projects without being old and stodgy. It's lessons on stitch techniques weren't a huge success for me, but everyone learns differently, so you might give it a try. I did find good inspiration in its projects.

Civilization is back with an all-new edition. Game play has changed quite a bit and now you're supposed to focus on making more specialized cities instead of lots of them. But we all know that's crap. So you keep making big cities and go to war!!
