It would be hard to define exactly what it is that I like so much about crafting. Maybe it's the fact that
since, like many of you, I work in a business where we bang out things on a computer all day and have little if any tangible results, I enjoy having something to hold in my hands at the end of the day and be able to say "I made this!" ... besides a stack of papers, that is. There is also the control freak customization that you get from making something yourself. You're not beholden to the whims and freaks of fashion. You can find whatever fabrics and colors and materials you like and create something totally unique and totally you. That appeals to me as well.
Whatever drives me, this little page is a collection of the things I have created over the past few years. Some are crafts that I have found that others have done and I have archived them for my own purposes, to make notes on what works better, or to remember my favorite links, etc. and others are completely of my own invention, sometimes with inspiration from here or there. I've tried to give credit wherever credit is due and I've tried to make my instructions as clear and concise as possible and have good references for extra tutorials and articles, but if there is anything that you are still confused about, please contact me!
